Visit The Tillamook Cheese Factory
One of the truly unique places to see on the entire Oregon Coast is the Tillamook Cheese Factory just north of the town of Tillamook. The factory is located roughly an hour south of Cannon Beach and offers free factory tours. Tillamook is a famous name in the ice cream and cheese world and seeing this amazing facility up close is pretty impressive. Kids and adults both like seeing where the famous cheese is made. When you’re done you can even take part in a taste test of several different types of cheeses. Stopping at the Tillamook Cheese Factory could easily turn into a habit.

The Cannon Beach History Center and Museum is a small museum devoted to the local history of the Cannon Beach area. A visit there will give you a quick overview of both the time before and after settlers came there.
